The chamber kiln for firing ceramics is an advanced device designed for professional and precise ceramic firing. This kiln is built to ensure optimal conditions during the firing process, offering high quality and reliability.
The kiln’s structure is crafted from a sturdy welded frame, mounted on a reinforced base for stability and durability. The entire unit is covered with 1.2 mm thick metal sheets.
The insulation of the kiln is a critical component, and we use only reputable, certified insulation boards. These boards are rigid and provide good resistance to mechanical damage.
The kiln door opens at a 180° angle, which allows unobstructed loading and unloading of materials.
To firing ceramics
The chamber kiln reaches temperatures of up to 1100 °C, making it suitable for most standard ceramic firing processes. This enables optimal firing results, ensuring durability and aesthetic quality.
The kiln operates on a 230 V power supply with a power rating of 7.4 kW. It utilizes a three-phase connection for stable and reliable performance, evenly distributing heat throughout the kiln chamber, essential for uniform ceramic firing.
Breakdowns can happen, especially for beginner users. That’s why ceramic kilns are also equipped with replaceable heating elements, allowing for an easy replacement without rebuilding the entire kiln in case of heater damage.
The kiln is equipped with two controllers: a step regulator and a manual regulator. This setup allows users to easily set the temperature, with a simple left switch for complex processes or a right switch for setting a single temperature.
The EMKO ESM-9990 controller remembers previously selected processes, so all you need to do is press START. For single-temperature operations, just switch to manual mode.
The EMKO ESM-9990 regulator can handle firing curves with up to 8 steps. Each step includes:
– set temperature,
– Ramp-up or ramp-down time (up to 99h:99min),
– Hold time at the set temperature (up to 99h:99min).
The ESM-9990 controller provides various control methods, including an advanced PID algorithm with auto-tuning to optimize control parameters for the best results. It also offers a simple ON-OFF mode with adjustable hysteresis.
The dual LED display with four digits, 14 and 9 mm high, provides clear and easy-to-read temperature readings.
