Tempering Furnace – An Effective Tool for Metal Treatment

A tempering furnace is an indispensable tool in the industry, enabling controlled thermal processes designed to reduce the hardness and strength of metal materials. The tempering process improves mechanical properties and wear resistance, which is crucial in the production of high-quality products.

Solid Construction

The tempering furnace is designed to ensure precise and controlled thermal conditions during the tempering process. This allows for consistent product quality, which enhances customer satisfaction and the company’s reputation.

The furnace is built on a robust, heat-resistant frame that guarantees stability and protection against mechanical damage. The heating elements are made from high-quality materials, ensuring effective heating and long-lasting performance.

Custom-Designed Tempering Furnaces

If you have any doubts or need to adapt the furnace to specific production requirements, we offer expert advice based on years of industry experience. Our goal is to provide our customers with the best solutions that meet their expectations and ensure efficiency in the metal treatment process.

Industries Using Tempering Furnaces:

  • Automotive Industry: Tempering furnaces are essential for thermal treatment of automotive components such as shafts, pistons, and suspension parts, ensuring proper hardness and strength.
  • Tool Industry: The production of tools, such as drills, mills, and knives, requires a precise controlled tempering process to achieve the required hardness and durability.
  • Machinery Industry: Manufacturing machine parts such as shafts, bearings, and hydraulic components requires tempering furnaces to achieve desired mechanical properties.
  • Machine Tool Industry: In metalworking, where various techniques are used, tempering furnaces help restore the proper material structure after mechanical processing.
  • Energy Industry: The production of components used in energy generation, such as turbines, blades, and boiler elements, requires a controlled tempering process to ensure necessary durability and strength.
  • Agricultural Tool Industry: The production of agricultural tools like plows, cultivators, and harvesters requires tempering furnaces to ensure the durability and strength of tools used in tough working conditions.

Basic Specifications of the Tempering Furnace:

  • Insulating Material: High-quality ceramic fiber, energy-efficient multi-layer insulation, ensuring low external temperature.
  • Heating Chamber: Made of impregnated ceramic boards resistant to working conditions.
  • Heating Element: Our furnaces use a spiral heating element made of high-quality Kanthal A-1 resistance wire. This material is known for its durability, high resistance to high temperatures, and excellent heating properties. The heating spirals are precisely placed in interchangeable fireclay plates, ensuring even heat distribution and efficient heating of the chamber.
  • Temperature Controller: PID-type, allowing the setting of a desired temperature. The controller has a continuous operation function.
  • Temperature Setting Accuracy: 1°C.
  • Temperature Sensor: K-type thermocouple.

Additional Options:

  • Temperature controller with step programming option.
  • Reinforced floor.
