Furnaces for hardening long elements
We design and build furnaces for hardening long elements – industrial chamber furnaces for hardening, annealing and stress relieving drive shafts, tubes, spindles, guillotine blades and long punches. The heating is laid out to keep the temperature even along the full length of the chamber.

Furnaces for hardening long elements – design
Thermal design that limits distortion and temperature drop at the ends of the chamber
Built to your requirements
Chamber length, door type and control are matched to your parts and your process.
Energy-efficient insulation
Lightweight, low-thermal-mass fibre boards mean fast heat-up, lower power use and a cool outer casing.
Easy loading of long parts
A reinforced hearth of fireclay or silicon carbide (SiC) plates lets you slide in and position heavy steel parts safely.
Standard sizes
Chamber volume in litres and power ratings
| Volume | Chamber size [W × H × D mm] | Loading | Max. temperature [°C] | Power [kW] |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 51 L | 300 × 200 × 850 | side door | 1150 | 6.5 |
| 60 L | 300 × 200 × 1000 | side door | 1150 | 10 |

* Hearth reinforcement: An optional 10 mm silicon carbide (SiC) plate protects the floor from scratches and damage under heavy loads.
* Door options: side-opening door, lift-up door (pneumatic or manual) or pass-through access from both ends.
Where are furnaces for hardening long elements used?
Industries that need accurate heat treatment without distortion
Machinery
Hardening drive shafts, long spindles, ball screws and linear guides.
